In 1996 Sherri Johnston had a vision. She wanted to provide the people of Mid-Michigan the opportunity to own quality, name-brand clothing without paying extravagant prices, and to sell their gently used items for a profit. So, Sherri opened the first Michigan-based Wears Like New, Inc., in Howell, MI. Since then, two new locations have opened – one in Flint Township in the year 2000, and the other in Saginaw Township in 2005. The opening of these two stores makes the company the largest Consignment Clothing store in Michigan.
